I begged my mom to let me shave my legs by around 9-10 years old. I was bullied for my dark black hair on my pale arms and legs! I started shaving my arms when I was 12 and when my mom noticed, she was actually sad for me! She tried to tell me it was okay and beautiful and part of who I am and I didn’t need to shave it off!
Personally I still shave just about every inch from collar bone to toes just because it makes me happy but I sure won’t rush my little hairy, half Mexican, beautiful baby girl into shaving any part of her body.
I’m happy my mom was open to teaching me how to safely shave even though she wanted me to know I could rock my hairy ass arms and still be gorgeous.
I'll shave if a shoot calls for it, b u t for shoots that don't call for it/shoots where I'm in a 'say somethin I dare ya' mood and every day of my Real Life... Preach! 👐

Proudly unshaven legs since junior/senior year, except when I had to wear a prom dress or some shit. Always wore long pants though. Freshman year of college gave me the courage to rock shorts with my body hair and I’m lookin' fine as hell and nobody can tell me otherwise.
